That was a good idea

I'm so glad I decided to keep a pair of shoes and socks at the office. I showed up to work soaked today, and it's really quite nice to have warm, dry feet right now. Of course, my shorts got really wet in front (it happens when you walk, the fronts of your thighs get exposed a lot) and that moisture is also pressed up against my stomach as I sit. So, if I still have those shorts that are too big now, I think I'll bring those in and keep them here, too.

It was funny, I didn't feel like putting my wet shoes back on after I took a shower, so I carried down the dry ones and walked through the parking garage to the locker room barefoot. It's not far. Hopefully whenever I have to do that I never run into anyone.
