Routines are easily disrupted

I decided yesterday that my hat and glove season is over because I've been taking the gloves off halfway through my morning walk, and the hat makes my head itch and also makes it completely impossible to look presentable once it's off.

Not that I wake up looking presentable. In fact, it was quite tricky to get my hair and eyebrows to behave this morning. Of course I could wet my head and gain a lot of control, but any more than just a little bit of water and I would risk being too cold. I got it looking somewhat decent, did my stretches, and left.

I noticed that it was 4:20 when I started my walk tracker, which was weird to me because it's almost always 4:25 when that happens. I couldn't figure out how I could be so much faster, and forgot about it, until about a mile into my walk, when I noticed I hadn't brushed my teeth. I can't remember a time in the last 15 years when I forgot to brush my teeth, but stopping to fix my hair this morning when I hadn't in so long made me completely forget to.

Luckily, after having been to the dentist just a few days ago, my breath is pretty decent after some gum and an apple. I hope.
