"Let's make a burrito!"

I'm glad today is here. No commitments after two very busy days is pretty great. Yesterday's two errands became five, and I was gone for five hours doing them. At least I got to show Barbara where the lion house is now.

I can't remember if I said we've changed the cats' feeding schedules. They used to eat at lunchtime and bedtime, and now it's at breakfast and dinner. They should like it more because it's spread out more evenly but they've given us tons of grief about it. Here's Steve pouting last night.

This morning I got to the tank farm nice and early. It was cold, but not as bad as that really cold day at Langus. I can feel it in my thigh muscles, but it doesn't hurt. The moon is still amazing.

I took a picture of this from further away on Sunday but wanted to see it from closer to show how big it really is.

Today's awesome walk, 4.5 miles in 1:27, 9,636 steps

All of my air hanging air plant clumps died except for one ionantha plant from the faux clump that was actually several individual plants held together by a wire. I decided on Friday I wanted a couple more, and they arrived today. This is one of them, a Houston, with the cute business card that was in the box.

My first batch of zucchini pickles is chilling in the fridge. I hope they're good!

It's frustrating when air plants die and you've not done anything different. I've lost another one but my losses are quite minimal thank goodness.

That is one huge tree!!

I lose at least a plant a week, but I have so many that it's almost inevitable.
