The new normal: dentistry

Had my first covid-era teeth cleaning today. Was pretty anxious about it but it wasn't so bad. Notes:
- Waited outside for someone to come out and take my temperature with a tap to the forehead before entering.
- Masks were available but I brought my own. You're expected to wear it when they aren't working on you.
- There were only three seats in the lobby.
- The hygienist was even harder to hear than normal because she had a plastic face shield in addition to the mask she's always worn.
